Eye drops
Some
of our elderly patients suffer from chronic dry eyes. We can
compound serum eye drops to help with this problem. Some other eye
drops we make regularly are Amikacin eye drops and Amphotericin B eye
drops. |
 |
Injections
Using aseptic technique, we can prepare sterile
injections. We use in-house testing to ensure that
our products are sterile. |
 |
Lollipop
The lollipop is
used as a drug delivery system for nicotine polacrilex
for smoking cessation to help people stop smoking.
For children, lollipops are sometimes used by
dentists with Tetracaine (an anesthetic) to diminish the
gag reflex. |

Pacifier
This pacifier has
a compartment for medicine, making it a convenient medication delivery vehicle for infants. |
 |
Poly-Ox
Poly-ox is a
non-prescription powder (applied with the device shown)
which acts as a protective bandage for mouth ulcers and
certain other oral conditions. When prescribed by your
doctor, we can add drugs such as triamcinolone 0.1% or
clobetasol 0.05% (topical steroids more potent than
hydrocortisone) and the anesthetic lidocaine. |
 |
Pluronic Lethicin Organogel (PLO) Transdermal
PLOs help deliver medicines such as
bio-identical hormones directly through the skin. Each dose
is metered to allow for precise dosages. |
 |
Suppositories
We make both vaginal and
rectal suppositories. We can incorporate most oral medications into
a suppository form, which is helpful for
those who can not swallow or who are nauseous. |
 |
Tube/Syringe
Many times
customers prefer a cream, gel or ointment in a tube. Tubes are easier to extract contents
from and have the benefit of attaching to a
topical syringe for accurate topical dosing.
Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy is an example
where exact topical doses are used. |
